01
External links and native tools are different
A COD Club tracking link refers customers to an external product offer. Meta-native affiliate tools, branded-content labels and partnership ads are separate features with their own eligibility and policies. Having an Instagram account does not establish access to every monetization tool.
Check the current account tools and Meta help documentation before designing a campaign that depends on a native feature. You can plan ordinary product content without claiming you are part of a Meta affiliate program. Never describe a COD Club referral as an Instagram-managed commission.
02
Prepare a product brief before filming
Record the approved name, current selling price, actual contents, available stock and any verified dimensions or options. Use images you are authorized to use and show the real item. If an accessory is not included, do not imply it is part of the offer.
A useful content outline is: the customer problem, a visible demonstration, what is included, the confirmed price and a clear next step. Avoid invented testimonials, medical claims, fake scarcity or delivery deadlines you have not confirmed. Product clarity matters more than adding unsupported superlatives.
03
A practical post and Reel structure
For a short demonstration, start with the actual product in use, then show the detail a buyer needs to decide. Use captions that accurately name the offer and make the next step understandable. Link placement varies by surface and account: test the route a customer will actually follow instead of assuming every caption link is clickable.
For example, your draft can say: “See the product contents and current price in the offer. Order through my link if it suits your needs; I may earn a commission on a completed purchase.” Adapt the wording to the real program and applicable platform disclosure requirements. This is a template, not a ready-made claim about a specific item.
04
Check the complete customer journey
Open your tracking link from the published placement, check the intended product, inspect the page on a phone and verify that the offer matches your post. When customers ask questions, answer only with verified information. Do not request payment-card details or publish their phone numbers in comments.
A direct-message conversation is not a delivered order. Encourage an accurate order submission through the approved flow. Use the recorded order status for follow-up rather than marking a sale complete because someone replied positively to your video.
05
Measure outcomes and consult current policies
Keep a simple campaign log: product, channel, creative, dates, personal spending and delivered-order commission. COD Club links and orders do not by themselves prove per-post attribution. Use only measurements your actual setup provides, and keep a manual log where needed.
Compare creative tests without changing every variable at once. Wait for order outcomes before judging returns, and do not increase spending solely because clicks rise. Consult Meta’s affiliate eligibility and partnership-ad help pages for feature rules; no conversion rate or profit is guaranteed by this guide.
